What you Can Expect

Highland View Dental Practice is Essex’s premier private dental and specialist referral practice. We offer dental implants, sedation (for particularly nervous patients and more complex procedures), oral surgery and multidisciplinary dental care.

At Highland View Dental Practice, we want to make sure you feel welcome and comfortable from the moment you enter the practice. We welcome new patients, either as referrals from other dentists or directly if you think you need treatment, or just want a thorough dental check-up.

Both of our practices are recognised by most major private medical insurance companies, including BUPA, so our specialists are able to carry out oral surgery procedures covered by your insurance policy, subject to approval.

Whenever possible we will email or send out an information pack about the practice as soon as you book your first appointment. This will include a general overview of the practice, any specific treatments you may require if you have been referred by another dentist, an explanation of our fees, and a medical history form. It will help if you read through all the information and complete the medical history form to bring to your appointment. In the case of emergency appointments we will ask you to complete the form in the practice.

At your first appointment we will undertake a full assessment of your teeth, gums and surrounding structures. We will look at your medical and dental history, then, depending on your individual needs, will diagnose any problems and create a personal plan for your treatment. This will include an outline of treatment costs. We will also take any x-rays and radiographs as necessary to help formulate your treatment plan.
Your plan will include details of any follow-up appointments required, and a full time-scale for your treatment. Your dentist can use our online referral form to refer you for treatment, or you can contact our Hornchurch (01708 707050) or Leigh-on-Sea ( 01702 553535) practices to book your first appointment.

You can also communicate with us online via our secure online “contact us” forms or online medical history forms which will be delivered to a secure server for our access only.

Online Booking is available for both our practices! Book an appointment any time of the day from the comfort of your home, with the reassurance that your booking will be in our appointment diary, no need to speak on the phone. You will need to confirm your contact details using a mobile phone number.
